I told a client that before we could start writing a new web site from scratch, I needed him to send us the specifications in writing and to sign off on them. His reply?

"IŽm not sending specifications and certainly not signing my name to it. I have NO intention of being the one on the line if something important is forgotten."

I once got a spreadsheet that asked everyone in the company to fill out things like "work Experience" "Job Title" and the like, save the spreadsheet and forward it to the next person on the list.

I never understood why management needed a Chain Letter to find out who the Hell we were. YouŽd think HR could answer the question for them.
